Abstract:
To provide a flexible solar cell substrate which has an excellent handleability, and also to provide a method for manufacturing the substrate.
The solar cell substrate includes a film of polyimide having a specific structure unit, a thermal expansion coefficient of -10 to 10 ppm/°C and a Young's modulus of 700 kg/mm2 or more, a metallic electrode formed on the film, an amorphous silicon layer formed on the electrode, and a transparent electrode formed on the amorphous layer.
