Abstract:

To provide a solar cell having not only flat shape, but also irregular shape having a curvature, which can generate power suitably, and to provide a solar cell with high efficiency.

The dye sensitized solar cell is formed by arranging a working electrode having a metal oxide semiconductor on the surface of which, a dyestuff, excited when light is irradiated, capable of supplying electrons to the semiconductor on a conductive thin film, and a counter electrode facing the working electrode, on one plane, by the above, flexibility of shapes is enhanced, and the cell can be selected in accordance with the place to be used, shape, and required durability. Further, by arranging a plurality of solar cell plates formed by arranging the working electrode and the counter electrode on one plane so as to face each other through an electrolyte layer, power generation is enabled by receiving the light from both faces, and the amount of power generation can be improved.
