Abstract:
This solar battery cell is rectangular and comprises a semiconductor substrate. A light reception surface charge-collecting electrode is provided on a light reception surface used for power generation. One width-direction end of an opposing surface opposite the light reception surface is provided with a rear side charge collecting electrode which is formed on the semiconductor substrate. The other width-direction end of the opposing surface has formed thereon an electrode-free region in which the rear side charge collecting electrode is not provided.
