Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for collecting solar energy by using a plurality of energy absorbing elements arranged in a flat array in a standalone type base structure.SOLUTION: A single energy collecting element includes: a radiation energy capturing unit 100; an angle positioning unit 200; and a base unit 300. The radiation energy capturing unit consists of three main parts, a tower 150, a reflector dish 110, and a convex mounted arch 190. A power generating PV cell mounted in a concave lower surface of a block 170 forming an apex of the tower faces downward along an optical axis of a capturing device and is located at a common focal point of a parabolic surface containing the reflector dish 110.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
