Title:
SOLAR ENERGY USING DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11108467
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To collect solar heat at a temperature under which the reliability of a power generation module is not deteriorated and eliminate a necessity for providing a space for a heat storage tank separately from a position for installing the module by providing a latent heat storage material which performs a phase change at a temperature not higher than a prescribed temperature in a solar heat collecting module.

A hybrid module receives solar energy and generates power by the power generation cell 3 of a solar photovoltaic power generation module. Heat produced by exhaust heat and the solar energy received by a part having no power generation cell 3 is stored in a liquid heating medium with which are filled heating medium passages 8 in a module for collecting solar heat received by the solar heat collecting plate 6 of a solar photovoltaic heat collecting module and in a latent heat storage material 7 provided in the rear surface of the solar heat collecting plate. The latent heat storage material 7 is mainly composed of, for example, sodium acetate trihydrate which performs a phase change at a temperature not higher than the temperature under which the power generation module is not broken. Even when abnormal heat is generated in the solar heat collecting module due to any accident, the latent heat storage material 7 is partly molten because of the phase change temperature of the latent heat storage material 7, so that the rise of temperature is prevented.
