PURPOSE: To accomplish matching between the heat collecting function and the power generating function of a solar energy utilizing apparatus, by forming heat medium passages at one side of a heat collecting panel made of a nonmetallic material, and attaching solar batteries to the other side of the heat collecting panel.
CONSTITUTION: A heat collecting panel 104 and heat collecting pipes 105 are made in a unitary manner, for instance, by extruding a high-molecular resin. When a heat medium introduced from an inlet header connecting pipe 108 is passed through the heat collecting pipes 105 and discharged from an outlet header connecting pipe, the heat medium is heated by the heat collecting panel 104, and at the same time, solar batteries 106 are cooled by the heat medium. Since the heat collecting panel made of a high-molecular resin is excellent in accomplishing matching between the heat collecting area and the power generating area to the total amount of hot water required per day, it is enabled to manufacture the apparatus more economically and lightly as compared with a heat collecting panel made of a metal.
