PURPOSE: To magnify the overall efficiency by a factor of two or more by a method wherein the steam developed at the evaporation of the moisture of a carrier is recovered and the latent heat of said steam is also utilized.
CONSTITUTION: When NaOH water solution consisting in mixing NaOH and water with each other in a ratio of 1:1 is fed from a dilution tank 6 into a vessel 3' by means of a pump 16 and then a vacuum tube type heat collector 1 is put into operation, the NaOH water solution is heated and the moisture in the solution is evaporated and then stored in a liquid storage tank 5. On the other hand, when the NaOH water solution reaches the stage, at which almost all of the moisture is lost, after being concentrated, a valve 73 is open in order to shift the concentrated solution 9 to the dilution tank 6 by gravity. In this case, the heat of dilution due to concentration difference is developed by mixing the concentrated solution 9 with the water stored in the liquid storage tank 5 by opening a valve 71. Said developed heat is utilized as the purpose calls. Because the heat of evaporation of the water is also utilized, the overall performance of the system can be magnified nearly by a factor of about two.
