PURPOSE: To keep the temperature of hot water supplied constant regardless of the temperature of hot water obtained by a solar water heater, by imparting an instantaneous water heater connected to a hot water supply pipe of the solar water heater with an automatic combustion controlling function which is exerted in response to the temperature of hot water obtained by the solar water heater.
CONSTITUTION: An element 14 for detecting the temperature of intake water and an element 15 for detecting the temperature of hot water supplied are provided in an instantaneous water heater 3 which is coupled to a solar water heater, and the output signals of these elements 14, 15 are applied to a controller 6, which is also afforded with signals from a control panel 13 and a water-flow switch 5. Through calculation of these information signals, the controller 6 controls the operation of a main burner 8 and a pilot burner 9 by gas valves 10W12 and an ignitor 16. Therefore, it is enabled to always supply hot water of a constant temperature by operating the instantaneous water heater 3 even if the temperature hot water supplied from the solar water heater is low.
