Title:
SOLAR HEAT-UTILIZING POWER PLANT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS57146067
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To raise the heat collecting efficiency of the titled power plant, by lowering the temperature of steam to be heated by a solar-heat collector in a low-temperature steam generating section, and reducing the amount of a heating medium such as molten salt used in the system.

CONSTITUTION: Condensate water is carried from a deaerator 1 to a solar-heat collector 4 via a feed water pipe 3 by means of a feed water pump 2. In the solar-heat collector 4, condensate is heated into steam by a light collecting means 5 and then introduced into a liquid separator 6, from which saturated steam is carried into a steam accumulator 12. Saturated steam supplied from the steam accumulator 12 via a pipe 28 is heated in a heater 31 and then supplied to a steam turbine 11, which in turn drives a generator 14 and produces electric energy. Here, since molten salt having a greater heat capacity than steam is used as the heat collecting medium, the temperature of steam can be kept low and the amount of the molten salt used in the system can be reduced, so that a high heat collecting efficiency can be obtained.
