Title:
SOLAR LENS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2009186942
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To achieve the performance improvement and cost reduction of a solar lens capable of condensing the sunlight in a prescribed range with the lens staying still irrespective of the position of the sun, as there is a need for constantly allowing the condensing surface to face sun by being adjusted to the position of the moving sun by a solar tracking device in order to effectively utilize the sunlight, with respect to a solar power generation device of a condensing system and a lighting unit for natural illumination.

The solar lens is constituted so that saw-toothed current rectification lenses constituted by lining up numerous current rectification of isosceles triangle shapes are engaged on the light emitting surface of the condenser lens of an inverted trapezoidal shape in section, wherein the light incident surface of the condenser lens is formed to have a hollow slope having a triangular shape in section, and the outer slanted surface of the condenser lens is subjected to specular reflection treatment.
