To provide a lightweight solar water heater producible at low cost, and to provide a water generation system including a thin-film distillation device utilizing the above heater as a heating unit and installable at low cost.
The solar water heater has a light-receiving part for receiving sunlight, a heat transfer part for converting the received sunlight into heat to transfer to a treating water, and a gas phase provided in the light-receiving part or between the light-receiving part and the heat transfer part. The light-receiving part is composed of a resin having a sunlight transmittance of ≥90%, and the heat transfer part comprises a resin containing a photothermal conversion material. The water generation system has a water generator for film-distilling the treating water heated by the solar water heater to collect a fresh wter.
