To provide a sole-repairing agent for soles or heels of shoes which causes no problem of the volatilization by its solvent, can harden in a short time, hardly deforms nor shrinks while hardening, and can form them into desired shapes in just one repair work.
This sole-repairing agent comprises a liquid-type thermosetting composition which includes an urethane prepolymer containing terminal isocyanate group and/or a polyisocyanate compound as well as a latent hardener as the main components. Unlike a solvent-type sole-repairing agent, it causes no problems in sanitary or safety, such as a bad smell and flammability due to the volatilization of the solvent in hardening, and also it never shrinks in the repaired portion due to the volatilization of the solvent. It can form the damaged sole part into any desired shape in just one repair work, and harden in a short time by heat. Since it hardly becomes viscous nor forms a surface film, no dry surface film sticks to a spatula, so that it can give nice and smooth finishing touches to the repaired surface.
