To solve a problem in which point pressing members such as projections provided in the insole of a slipper, sandal, shoe, etc., conventionally for improvement of health are fixed on a bottom plate or the like to have the main purpose of pressing the specific place around a plantar arch, and in which quite a user of the slippers and the like also usually desires to press points of the sole of foot other than the plantar arch and although some are designed to have movable point pressing members, the structure thereof is configured to move the pressing members one by one to perform rearrangement, and thereby, the work thereof is considerably troublesome.
The article of footwear includes: an intermediate plate installed at least on the side in contact with the sole of foot; a bottom plate installed on the side in contact with the floor or the like; and a cover, in the upper part of the intermediate plate, for receiving the instep part of the foot placed on the article of footwear. The article of footwear further includes: projections housed in a gap prepared by notching a part of the intermediate plate and/or the bottom plate to stimulate the sole of foot; and a strap joined integrally with the projections and can freely operate the positions of the projections by shifting in the gap in the longitudinal direction of the article of footwear.
