To provide a solenoid linear valve of simple structure capable of restricting outbreaks of self-excited vibration.
This solenoid linear valve 10 includes: a housing 20 having a partitioning part 30 partitioning the housing into a first liquid chamber 34 and a second liquid chamber 36; a plunger 22 having an end, which functions as a valve element and which can seat on a valve seat 40, and provided inside of the first liquid chamber freely to move in the axial direction; a wall hole 70 passing through a wall of the housing and opened in a valve chamber 64 between the plunger and the partitioning part and an outer peripheral surface of the housing; and a bar-like extending ember 74 to be fitted in the wall hole in one end thereof and to be extended into the valve chamber. With this structure, it is possible to hinder a flow of the operating fluid directing the plunger inside of the valve chamber with the part of the bar-like member extending into the valve chamber by only fitting the bar-like member in the wall hole. Consequently, in the solenoid linear valve of simple structure, outbreaks of self-excited vibration of the plunger can be restricted.
