To accomplish miniaturization in one direction of an actuator A for controlling a brake fluid pressure.
In the solenoid valve (pressure reducing control valve) 30(V) of the actuator A for controlling a fluid pressure, a valve stem 35 integrated with a movable iron core 34 is provided on a valve housing 36 advanceably/retreatably in an axial direction and a valve element 37 is contacted/separated from a valve seat 38 by advancing/retreating of the valve stem 35 to perform opening/closing of the valve. Since a yoke 31 forms a magnetic passage, the shape may be U-shaped and if the yoke 31 is U-shaped, a size (width) of the solenoid valve V can be reduced by a thickness degree of a yoke piece 31a at one side as compared with a cylindrical shape. If the respective solenoid valves V are arranged such that the reduced width direction becomes a vertical direction of the required actuator for controlling the brake fluid pressure, the vertical direction of the actuator for controlling the brake fluid pressure becomes short (miniaturized). A distal end edge 31c of a flange is made to a circular shape along an outer peripheral edge of a winding layer of a coil and a length direction of the flange is made minimum to also reduce the width of the solenoid valve in its direction.
