To provide a solenoid valve for a fuel cell in which a load applied to a valve element is further reduced to allow the valve element to more smoothly open and close.
A solenoid valve 10 for a fuel cell includes a diaphragm 92 provided between a valve part 98 of a valve element 16 and a valve body 12 configuring a valve mechanism part 18. In the diaphragm 92, an inner edge part 104 is mounted on the valve part 98, and an outer edge part 108 is mounted on a first body 22 of the valve body 12. Setting a pressure receiving area of the valve part 98 to be larger than that of the diaphragm 92 allows pressing force to be almost cancelled when a fuel gas is supplied to a communication chamber 32 in which the valve part 98 and the diaphragm 92 are disposed, to provide a state in which the pressing force is sightly applied only to the valve part 98.
