Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a solenoid valve of such type as the adjustment can be carried out easily and quickly, without requiring any special precise machining.
CONSTITUTION: This solenoid valve comprises an electromagnetic coil 6 wound around the hub of a plastic bobbin 5, a central metal core 10 disposed in the hub of the bobbin to form an axial duct, and an armature 15 to be displaced by axial electromagnetic force toward the end of the axial duct in order to control gas flow in the duct. In order to adjust the axial position of the core relative to the armature, outer surface of the core is threaded to cooperate with the inner surface of the hub.
