To provide a solenoid valve which is easily controllable and prevents an assembly play as well as reduces the generation of noises.
Since the maximum separation between a movable core 111 and a fixed core 51 is larger than the movable stroke of a movable rod 90, and the movable stroke of the movable core 111 is determined by that of the movable rod 90, the movable core 111 never strikes the fixed core 51. Consequently the vibration of the fixed core is avoided, thereby reducing the generation of noises. Furthermore, the adoption of the solenoid valve 10 for a hydraulic control duty ratio valve for which a quick response to switching on the electricity is essential, achieves a high-speed on/off operation, expanding a dynamic range in the relationship between the duty ratio and output pressure because no excess of loss is generated in the stroke of the movable core 111, thereby facilitating control of the engagement of clutch or brake.
