To prevent sticking to a pilot valve seat, and to prevent valve leakage, when a needle part bites in, in a pilot solenoid valve for preventing progress of biting-in of the needle part, when the pilot valve seat and the needle part are deformed.
In a lower part of a pilot valve element 6, an annular ring-shaped recessed part 61c is formed around the needle part 61a, and an annular ring-shaped stopper part 61b is formed on the periphery of the annular ring-shaped recessed part. Pressure equalizing holes 61d are formed for electrically continuing the recessed part 61c and a valve chest 21A. A swelling part generated by deformation of the pilot valve seat 421 is stored in the recessed part 61c. An annular ring-shaped stopper surface is constituted of a pilot valve seat 421 side end surface of the stopper part 61b. This may be applied to a linear motion type solenoid valve.
