To provide a solenoid valve easily reducing water hammering.
In the solenoid valve 1, a plunger 4 is provided inside a solenoid 3, the plunger is advanced and retreated toward a valve seat 7 arranged between a primary side flow passage 9 and a secondary side flow passage 10 by supply and stop of the current to the solenoid, and flow F of fluid is controlled by passing or shutting the communication between the primary side flow passage and the secondary side flow passage. A suction part 12 communicated with the secondary side flow passage is provided, and air outside of the solenoid valve is sucked from the suction part by a decompressed state occurring in the secondary side flow passage at stopping of the flow of the fluid, and the air is introduced into the secondary side flow passage.
