To provide a solenoid valve which can smoothly perform pressure control.

In this solenoid valve, a first valve body part 16b of a shaft body 16 inserted into a hole 15 of a spool 4 is arranged outside the spool 4, and detachably seated at an opening (valve seat) 5a of a high pressure flow passage 5. A second valve body part 16c of the shaft body 16 is detachably seated at a hole forming part (valve seat) 4c of the spool 4. When the spool 4 is displaced and the second valve body part 16c is detached for opening the valve, pressure difference is not applied to the shaft body 16. In such a case, the pressure difference does not influence nothing of the displacement of the spool 4. Force against electromagnetic force generated by the solenoid mechanism is hardly varied in respect to detachment of the second valve body part 16c, that is, opening and closing of the valves. The spool 4 is smoothly displaced, so that pressure control is smoothly and continuously performed.
