To provide a solenoid valve which can suppress operation sound in association with ON-OFF.
A PCV 4 (one example of solenoid valve) forms a damper chamber α within a space filled by fuel in such a manner that a damper concave section 10 arranged in a valve sheet 9 and damper lid section 11 arranged in an armature 7 are overlapped in an axial direction; therefor, the operation sound generated by collision can be suppressed in such a way that when the valve is switched from ON to OFF, the damper concave section 10 and damper lid section 11 are overlapped in the axial direction from a halfway that a valve body 17 and the armature 7 descend, and the valve body 17 and armature 7 are damped in movement; and furthermore, a reduction effect of the operation sound can be obtained by suppressing degrading of responsiveness by making [a maximum overlapping amount between the damper concave section 10 and damper lid section 11 minimum] in [a region that the reduction effect of the operation sound obtained by the damper chamber α can be expected sufficiently].
