To suppress the deformation of an O-ring valve 4 for prolonging the durability life thereof and preventing the O-ring valve 4 from dropping, in a solenoid valve where the O-ring valve 4 is installed at one end of a plunger 3 to be driven by a solenoid drive part 7 and the O-ring valve 4 is seated on and departed from a valve seat 24a of a circular valve port 24 formed within a valve chamber 22.
A plunger 3 is internally interpolated within a plunger tube 5. One end part 31 of the plunger 3 is penetrated through a valve port 24. An O-ring groove 31a is formed at one end part 31. The O-ring groove 31a is also formed in R shape that emulates a wire diameter of an O-ring valve 4. The O-ring valve 4 is fitted into the O-ring groove 31a. The O-ring valve 4 is also seated on a valve seat 24a from a position opposite to a solenoid drive part 7 with respect to the valve port 24. A gap against the O-ring valve 4 is eliminated due to the O-ring groove 31a formed in R shape and a contact area is enlarged.
