Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of alleviating abrupt change of a damping force.SOLUTION: A solenoid valve comprises: a valve seat 2 arranged in a main flow passage 1; a main valve element 3 moving onto and away from the valve seat 2 to close and open the main flow passage 1; a pilot flow passage 4 bifurcated from the main flow passage 1; an orifice 5 arranged in the pilot flow passage 4; a back pressure chamber P connected downstream of the orifice 5 in the pilot flow passage 4 and having an internal pressure pushing a leaf valve 3 that is the main valve element in a closing direction; a pilot valve 6 arranged downstream of a connection point of the pilot flow passage 4 with the back pressure chamber P and controlling the pressure in the back pressure chamber P; a solenoid Sol adjusting the valve opening pressure of the pilot valve 6; and a second orifice 7 arranged between the back pressure chamber P and the pilot valve 6.
