Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain malfunction of a solenoid valve caused by freezing when liquid water intrudes into a gap in the vicinity of a valve element.SOLUTION: A solenoid valve 10 used in a gas flow passage includes a coil 30, a valve element storing part 32 disposed in the coil, a valve element 20 disposed in the valve element storing part and moved in an axial direction in accordance with supply of electricity to the coil, and a valve 45 for opening and closing the gas flow passage by movement of the valve element. At least one of a surface facing the valve element storing part in the valve element and a surface facing the valve element in the valve element storing part has a first groove 21 extending in the axial direction and a second groove 22 crossing the first groove and extending in a circumferential direction.
