PURPOSE: To enable constant damping action not depending on the temperature and simplify a sealing device of a moveable element chamber of a solenoid valve by providing a closed hollow chamber filled with a damping mass in at least one of movable structural members and increasing the volume of the hollow chamber greater than the volume of the damping mass.

CONSTITUTION: When current is allowed to flow to an electromagnetic coil 15, a movable element 23 is pulled against a compression spring 40, and force acting on a valve member 58 is reduced by magnetic force acting on the moving element 23. During the operation, the movable element 23 and a support pin 36 are controlled and moved according to an electric target reference value. In the support pin 36, a blind hole 10 closed by a closing pin 71 pressed in from the end surface on the valve member 58 side forms a closed hollow chamber 12 filled with many single mass bodies 73,, and forms a damping mass 74. Damping of a solenoid valve 10 is synchronized by selecting the shape of the single mass body 13, the size, and the coefficient of restitution in relation to the volume of the hollow chamber 72 and a moving structural member.
