To prevent the deformation of a stator and ensure desired performance at all times.
In a solenoid valve 1, a stator 6 is arranged in a solenoid housing 5, and a coil 8 is arranged in a coil insertion groove 7 of the stator 6. The stator 6 has a laminated structure consisting of many magnetic bodies. Laser welding is applied across many magnetic bodies on a lower face of the stator 6 so that a laminated face of the magnetic bodies is welded solidly. In this case, even if feed pressure of a fuel injection pump acts on the lower face of the stator 6, it is possible to prevent bending and deformation of the stator 6 due to welding of the magnetic bodies by the laser welding. Consequently, it is possible to maintain an air gap A/G between an upper face of the stator 6 and a lower face of an armature 13 to a predetermined amount and ensure desired performance of the solenoid valve 1.
