Abstract:
To provide a solid-state battery in which reduction in capacity retention rate is suppressed.SOLUTION: A solid-state battery includes a negative electrode layer containing a negative electrode active material, a positive electrode layer containing a positive electrode active material, and a solid-state electrolyte layer which is located between the negative electrode layer and the positive electrode layer and contains a solid-state electrolyte. The negative electrode layer further contains an interface forming agent. The interface forming agent includes at least one kind selected from metallic elements and metalloid elements which can become cation ions that conduct through the solid-state electrolyte in the solid-state electrolyte layer, do not contribute to an electrode reaction, have a lower ionic conductivity than ions contributing to the electrode reaction, and have an ionic radius of 1.34 Å or less. The solid-state electrolyte layer has a dendritic structure on at least one of the interface with the positive electrode layer and the interface with the negative electrode layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
