PURPOSE: To provide a solid coloring material which forms a quick drying, strong colord film and is useful as marker, etc. by molding a mixture of emulsion type polyethylene, ethylenic copolymer, bisamides, oil soluble hard resin, organic solvent, coloring material, etc.

CONSTITUTION: To obtain the object solid coloring material, the following components are heated and mixed, then molded: (a) about 20W60wt% in the total solid coloring composition consisting of one or more of ethylenic copolymer such as emulsion type polyethylene, obtained from low molecular polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, and bisamide represented by the formula (werein R1 and R2: 7W21C alkyl, aromatic, or substituted aromatic group, n: 1W2), (b) about 5W30 wt% of oil soluble hard resin such as rosin, polymerized terpene, (c) about 5W40 wt% of organic solvent with 110W220°C b.p. such as xylene, benzyl alcohol, and (d) 5W40wt% of coloring material such as pigment, etc.
