Title:
SOLID DETERGENT COMPOSITION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001011498
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a solid detergent composition for, being a solid state at a normal temperature, enabling a contaminant to directly apply thereto without dissolving it into water when it is used, and particularly being preferable for detergent of an oil contamination by combining and compounding a liquid organic solvent at the normal temperature and a solid nonionic surfactant at the normal temperature.

A normal temperature is defined as a temperature of 15-20°C. As a proper organic solvent are cited alcohols of ethanol, 2-propanol or the like, glycol ethers of 2-methoxy-2-propanol, 2-ethylhexyloxyethanol or the like, terpenes of D-limonene or the like, carboxylic acids of acetic acid or the like, and amines of monoethanolamine or the like. A melting point of a surfactant is preferably at least 30°C. A solid detergent composition is preferably prepared by mixing and incorporating the organic solvent and the other liquid components into a solid nonionic surfactant. The nonionic surfactant is preferably used in a greater quantity than the organic solvent.
