Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a flat plate type solid electrolyte fuel cell which is stable and equipped with high performance by enhancing tight attaching of an electrode and gas separator plate with each other, and keeping its stability for a long time.
CONSTITUTION: A flat plate cell where an anode 4 and a cathode 3 are placed opposedly with a solid electrolyte 2 interposed, is pinched by an anode side gas separator plate 8 and a cathode side gas separator plate 7 to constitute a solid electrolyte type fuel cell 1, wherein an anode side joint member 6 is installed between the gas separator plate 8 and the anode 4 while an cathode side joint member 5 is furnished between the other gas separator plate 7 and the cathode 3. The anode side joint member 6 is formed from hybrid components of a component forming the anode 4 and a component forming the anode side gas separator plate 8, while the cathode side joint member 5 is formed from hybrid components of a component forming the cathode 3 and a component forming the cathode side gas separator plate 7.
