Abstract:
To provide a solid electrolyte fuel battery cell in which problems of a thermal expansion coefficient and a reaction deterioration with a zirconia system solid electrolyte when La(NiCo)O3is used in an air electrode are solved to improve low temperature characteristics of the air electrode.
The solid electrolyte fuel battery cell is composed of a lamination in order of a fuel electrode, a solid electrolyte and an air electrode, and the air electrode is composed of an active layer containing a nickel-cobalt system perovskite type oxide as shown in LaNi1-xCoxO3(0.35≤X≤0.60) and a current collector layer formed on the active layer and the active layer is arranged between the current collector layer and the solid electrolyte. A plurality of the solid electrolyte fuel battery cells are electrically connected through an interconnector.
