Abstract:
To provide a small-sized solid electrolyte gas sensor insusceptible to the effect of interference components.
This gas sensor is formed by an ion conductive body 6, a reference electrode 5 and a detection electrode 7. The electrode 7 is formed by sintering alkali metallic salt in a gas atmosphere containing a predetermined high concentration gas. The body 6, the electrode 5 and the electrode 7 are connected under pressure. The electrode 5 and the electrode 7 are sintered compacts mixed with Au. Abutting faces of the electrode 5 and the detection electrode with the ion conductive body are polished.
