To obtain solid feed suitable for giving to reptiles/amphibians.

The solid feed is obtained by solidifying 10-30 pts.wt. of a feed raw material with 0.5-15 pts.wt. of a gelling agent and water of the rest to hardness allowing reptiles/amphibians to bait and not to break with their weight. It is preferable to use as the main ingredient of the feed raw material, one or a plurality of vegetable powder, cereal powder, an animal raw material, fruit powder, yeast, water soluble dietary fiber and water insoluble dietary fiber. As for the gelling agent, agar, gelatin, carageenan or a mixture of xanthan gum and locust beans can be used. It is preferable to select the part weight of the gelling agent from a range of 1-15 pts.wt. according to the size of reptiles/amphibians.
