Abstract:
To enable adjustment of a flow rate deviation of secondary air while maintaining the flat shape of a fuel nozzle.SOLUTION: In a solid fuel burner according to this invention, an outlet cross-sectional shape of a fuel nozzle is flat, the shape of an air nozzle at its outermost diameter is circular, and at least one air passage of the air nozzle is divided into at least four regions of a short-axis region and a long-axis region of the flat outlet cross section. The solid fuel burner includes a sliding damper at at least one location on an inlet opening of at least the one air nozzle. The sliding damper slides in an axial direction of the air nozzle through an operation from the outside of the burner, restricts a flow rate of air flowing into an air flow passage of the air nozzle in the short-axis direction region from the inlet opening of the air nozzle, and adjusts air which does not flow into the air flow passage of the air nozzle in the short-axis region so as to flow into an air flow passage of the air nozzle in the long-axis region.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
