To provide a solid fuel-fired combustion burner, in which a high-temperature oxygen remaining region formed in an outer periphery of flame is suppressed and a final production amount of NOx can be reduced.
A solid fuel-fired combustion burner 20 for feeding powdery solid fuel and air into a furnace includes a fuel burner 21 and secondary air feeding ports 30. A fuel burner 20 further includes: a coal primary port 22 which has inner held flame and feeds the solid fuel and primary air into the furnace; and a coal secondary port 23, which does not hold flame and which is disposed to surround a periphery of the coal primary port 22 and feeds a part of secondary air. The secondary air feeding ports 30 is disposed respectively above and below and/or at the right and left of the fuel burner 20 and includes a flow rate regulating means. The inner flame holding is performed by one or more split members 24 arranged in a flow passage front part of the coal primary port 22.
