To propose a solid fuel manufacturing technique using a resin and a biomass material as raw materials.

A solid fuel manufacturing apparatus is equipped with a body 10 having a screw 12 and a die 20. The die 20 comprises a die plate 21 with a through-hole 22 bored and a thin tube 23 which has a hole with a diameter equal to that of the through-hole 22 and is fitted coaxially with the through-hole 22 to the die plate 21. The raw materials which contain the resin and the biomass material and are charged in the body 10 are sent toward the die 20 by the screw 12. When the raw materials reach the die 20, the resin in the raw materials is melted. The raw materials are pushed from the through-hole 22 into the hole of the thin tube 23. The resin in the raw materials is cooled and cured in the thin tube 23. The raw materials pushed out from the tip of the thin tube 23 are cut by a cutting mechanism 30 into the pellet solid fuel.
