Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid fuel replenishment type fuel battery capable of continually generating power by continually supplying solid fuel.SOLUTION: A solid fuel replenishment type fuel battery is configured in a box-like shape, and includes a chamber having a planar fuel electrode constituting substantially the whole face of a first wall surface, a planar oxygen electrode which is provided at an inside of a second wall surface confronting the first wall surface and substantially covers the second wall surface, and an electrolyte body which is located between the fuel electrode and the oxygen electrode and brought into contact with the fuel electrode and the oxygen electrode, and solid fuel supply means for solid fuel. The materials of the fuel electrode and the oxygen electrode are carbon-based materials. Two chambers are arranged so that the first wall surfaces thereof confront each other. Solid fuel is supplied from the solid fuel supply means into the gap between the two chambers so as to contact the fuel electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
