Abstract:
To provide a solid hull charcoal that is more easily handled by paying attention to the deodorization effect of a hull charcoal and solidifying the hull charcoal and a method for manufacturing the same.
Rice bran or diatomaceous earth is used as a binder to solidify the hull charcoal. Since of a combination of the hull charcoal and diatomaceous earth, each of them has excellent deodorization effect and adsorption, in addition to deodorization as a synergistic effect, the adsorption of impurities in a liquid may be also expected.
