To provide a solid/liquid separator for rotationally driving a screw extended in a solid/liquid separation part, and for moving a processing object entering from the entrance at one terminal side in the axial direction of the solid/liquid separation part to the solid/liquid separation part toward the exit at the other edge side of the axial direction of the solid/liquid separation part, and for discharging filtrate separated from the processing object through the filtrate discharging part of the solid/liquid separation part to the outside of the solid/liquid separation part, and for discharging the processing object whose liquid content is decreased from the exit to the outside of the solid/liquid separation part, which is provided with a regulating member positioned so as to face the exit of the solid/liquid separation part for regulating the quantity of the processing object to be discharged from the exit, and for increasing a pressure in the solid/liquid separation part, wherein it is possible to prevent the deterioration of a pressure in the solid/liquid separation part, and to prevent the processing object from being made solid and clogging the solid/liquid separation part.
This solid/liquid separator is provided with an energizing means 57 for supporting a regulating member 47 so that it can be moved to a direction approaching or separating from an exit 3B of a solid/liquid separation part 3 on a shaft 41 of a screw 21, and for pressurizing the regulating member 47 toward the exit 3B.
