Abstract:
To provide a solid/liquid separation apparatus that captures solids in discharged water, which can maintain a flock growth zone interface in a sludge blanket, at an adequate position to keep water quality of treated water excellent.SOLUTION: The solid/liquid separation apparatus for subjecting solids in treated water to solid/separation treatment comprises a treated water introduction part, a sludge blanket part having a flock growth zone in which the solids in the treated water are captured and are grown as a flock, and a concentration part that concentrates the flock flowing out from the sludge blanket part, at a position away from the sludge blanket part, which has a returning part having returning means that returns the flock concentrated by the concentrating part to the sludge blanket part according to a state of the sludge blanket part. This can maintain the flock growth zone interface in the sludge blanket part, at an adequate position to keep water quality of the treated water excellent.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
