Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid lubricant that contains zinc stearate (ZnSt) and aluminum tristearate (AlSt) in a good mixed state and suppresses the occurrence of lubricant memory, a lubricant application device for applying the lubricant on a surface of a photoreceptor, and an image forming apparatus including the device.SOLUTION: The present solid lubricant is a solid lubricant to be supplied to a surface of a photoreceptor included in an image forming apparatus of an electrophotographic system, and contains one or more selected from the group of zinc stearate, aluminum tristearate, fatty acid ester, and fatty acid. The fatty acid ester preferably contains a compound represented by the general formula (1) R-COO-CH-R, wherein Rand Reach independently represent a straight chain aliphatic hydrocarbon group. The fatty acid preferably contains a compound represented by the general formula (2) CH-(CH)-COOH, wherein n represents an integer of 1 or more.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
