Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a solid lubricant composition which gives excellent lubricity, is substantially independent, in its friction coefficient, of external conditions, is capable of controlling the friction coefficient at a desired level, and does not have any corrosion effect.
CONSTITUTION: A solid lubricant composition comprising 30-70 pts.wt. of graphite (I) and 70-30 pts.wt. of a second component (II), wherein the second component is at least two ingredients selected from an alkali molybdate (a), an alkali sulfate and/or alkaline earth metal sulfate (b), and an alkali phosphate (c), and the ratio of the two ingredients is in the range of 0.05/1-20/1.
