PURPOSE: To provide a solid lubricating roller bearing which has excellent lubricating ability and by which the occurrence of dust can be prevented and which has a uniform physical property and a stable bearing service life.

CONSTITUTION: A roller bearing rolling travel surface is formed as a solid lubricating roller bearing coated with a single kind of metal selected from tungsten, tantalum, molybdenum or niobium being single body metal whose melting point temperature is equal to or higher than 2400°C. Excellent lubricating ability is applied to this roller bearing rolling travel surface, and the occurrence of dust can be prevented, and a uniform physical property and a stable bearing service life can be obtained.
