Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermally autonomous type solid oxide type fuel battery device that can maintain the hydrogen generation amount while enhancing the fuel utilization.SOLUTION: A solid oxide type fuel battery device 201 includes a module container 202 for accommodating a plurality of fuel battery cells 205, a fuel manifold 204 for supplying fuel gas to the fuel battery cells, the plurality of fuel battery cells being fixed to the top surface of the fuel manifold so as to be erected from the top surface, a combustion part 207 which is provided above the fuel battery cells and burns fuel gas remaining through power generation to generate combustion exhaust gas, and a reformer 208 which is heated by the combustion exhaust gas occurring in the combustion part and has a function of reforming supplied raw fuel gas into hydrogen-rich fuel gas. The fuel battery cell has a power generation element part containing a fuel electrode, solid electrolyte and an air electrode. The fuel electrode has a reforming function of reforming a raw fuel gas into hydrogen-rich fuel gas. A reforming function member for complementing reformation of the raw fuel gas in the reformer and the fuel electrode is further provided in the fuel manifold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
