Abstract:
To shorten a startup time, reduce startup energy, and reduce power consumption when rated power is generated.
The solid oxide fuel battery power generation system is provided with a fuel battery, a startup burner to raise a fuel battery temperature, a detection means to detect the fuel battery temperature and a current, and a system control device to produce a signal to stop the startup burner based on a signal from the detection means. This system structure stops the combustion of the startup burner when the system detects that the fuel battery temperature and the current exceed thresholds.
