Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid oxide fuel cell system capable of preventing a single cell from being broken due to oxidation of a fuel electrode, and a method for stopping a solid oxide fuel cell.SOLUTION: The solid oxide fuel cell system includes: a module 1 having a cell stack 11; a fuel supply device 2 for supplying a raw fuel to the module 1; an air supply device 3 for supplying oxidant gas to the module 1; a pure water supply tank 4 for supplying water to the module 1, the water being used for reforming the raw fuel; a cooling water supply tank 5 for supplying water for cooling the cell stack 11 to the module 1; a gas leakage detection device 6 for detecting gas leakage of fuel gas; and a control device 7 for controlling the operation of these constituents. Here, the cooling water supply tank 5 is a storage tank for storing water inside thereof. A control valve 51 is provided at a discharge port of the cooling water supply tank 5, and one end of a cooling pipeline L10 is connected to the control valve 51.
