Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polyaluminoxane composition suitable for co-catalyst and a catalyst carrier of a catalyst for producing an olefin multimer or an olefin polymer without using a solid inorganic carrier such as silica.SOLUTION: A method for producing a solid polyaluminoxane composition containing polyalkylaluminoxane and trialkylaluminium includes a step of reacting a compound having an aluminum-carbon bond contained in a solution polyaluminoxane composition and at least one component represented by formulae (5) to (7) to precipitate a solid polyaluminoxane composition, where the solution polyaluminoxane composition is a composition containing polyalkylaluminoxane, trialkylaluminium and a hydrocarbon catalyst. -(R)Al-X(R)(R)...(5), -(R)Al-YR...(6) and -(R)Al-Z...(7). In formulae (5) to (7), Rrepresents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms or an oxygen atom; X represents a group 15 atom; Y represents a group 16 atom; Z represents a group 17 atom; and Rand Rrepresent a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 50 carbon atoms, and may be the same or different.SELECTED DRAWING: None
