Abstract:

To provide a solid polymer electrolyte which has a novel chemical structure and which is utilized for an electrochemical device such as a fuel cell, a redox flow battery and an electric double layer capacitor or the like, and provide its manufacturing method.

This is the solid polymer electrolyte composed of a polymer having an aromatic ring and having a chemical structure in which a functional group shown in a formula (1) -SO2NHSO2Rf is bonded at a part of the aromatic ring. Rf is halogen, alkyl, alkyl halide, aryl or aryl halide, and these alkyls and aryls may have substituent group(s) and hetero atom(s) in its structure, and it may be bonded at this part to other parts in the polymer.
