Abstract:
To provide a durable solid polymer electrolyte film prevented from oxidative degradation and a durable fuel cell.
The solid polymer electrolyte film composed of a main chain formed by the copolymer of a fluorocarbon group vinyl monomer and a hydrocarbon group monomer and a hydrocarbon group side chain having sulfonic acid group, wherein the solid polymer electrolyte film is characterized by containing α-methyl styrene group in the hydrocarbon group side chain. The fuel cell is characterized by interposing the joined body comprised of an electrode and the solid polymer electrolyte film between separators, in which the solid polymer electrolyte film interposes the solid polymer electrolyte film between the electrodes.
